Abraham de Am\u00e9zaga is a writer, journalist and lecturer specialized in fashion and luxury.<\/p>\n
Grandson of a writer, with French literature degree and based in Paris, he was correspondent of Vogue Mexico<\/em> and Vogue Latin America<\/em> in Europe for ten years.<\/p>\n He is also a lecturer at leading higher education institutions in France.<\/p>\n He has authored several books. He also wrote the text for Blue la incansable<\/em> (2025), a volume of more than three hundred pages about Aura Marina Hern\u00e1ndez Acosta, who represented Christian Dior in Latin America for over thirty years.<\/p>\n Abraham has interviewed the best fashion designers (Karl Lagerfeld, Tommy Hilfiger, Paco Rabanne, Carolina Herrera, Giorgio Armani, Riccardo Tisci, Christopher Bailey\u2026); models (Elle Macpherson, Adriana Lima, Mariacarla Boscono\u2026), the most influential CEOs (Sidney Toledano, at Dior; Caroline Scheufele, at Chopard; Walter von K\u00e4nel, at Longines\u2026) and international fragrance creators (Jean-Claude Ellena, Alberto Morillas, Olivier Cresp\u2026).<\/p>\n He usually visits the best luxury brands ateliers (Herm\u00e8s, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Bottega Veneta, Loewe, John Lobb, Pomellato, Delvaux\u2026), and gets invited to the most important fashion shows and events in Europe.<\/p>\n Spanish luxury bags designer Celeste Galiano Mondino created \u201cAbraham\u201d bag (2011), in tribute to Abraham de Am\u00e9zaga.<\/p>\n He currently covers Paris Haute Couture and ready-to-wear fashion weeks for Agencia EFE, the world\u2019s leading Spanish-language news agency, and serves as the Paris correspondent for Gentleman M\u00e9xico<\/em> and T Magazine M\u00e9xico<\/em>.<\/p>\n He has served on the jury of Spain\u2019s National Fashion Awards, organised by the Spanish government\u2019s Ministry of Industry and Energy and presented by Her Majesty Queen Letizia, as well as on the jury of the Prix Vill\u00e9giature Awards.
